palms hotel las vegas nightIf you want to be among the cool crowd during your Vegas visit, The Palms may very well be the place to do it. After all, when it opened in 2001, it was an all-star celebrity event that people are still talking about. It’s a few blocks off the Strip, on Flamingo Road, yet The Palms still makes you feel as though you are right in the heart of the action.

All of the rooms in the resort are modern and comfortable, but it’s the suites in the Fantasy Tower that truly shine. The suites come with amenities that will make you do a double take. The Hardwood Suite comes with a basketball court and a lover room, while the Kingpin Suite comes with a full-size bowling lane.

You can go the girly route with the hot pink styling of the Barbie Suite, or perhaps take it to an adult level in the Erotic Suite, where a mirrored ceiling and a revolving bed help serve up your deepest fantasies.

As if all of that wasn’t enough, The Palms also has six Sky Villas that are quite simply the ultimate in luxury. These suites are either one or two-storey spaces, featuring amenities like a pool that stretches out over and above the street below.

While those pools are for the Sky Villa guests only, the two-acre pool area is made up of several swimming pools that are open to all the guests. You can play under a 12-foot waterfall, get your drink on in one of the three bars, or simply laze under the sun on a daybed or in a private cabana.

The pool area is a hive of activity in the summer months, with concerts and live events held on a regular basis. The Palms Pool parties on the weekend have become stuff of legend, as have the succulent burgers and drinks available at the Back Room Burger.

If heights aren’t your thing, you may be more comfortable getting a drink on the ground floor. Scarlet is a great place to do so, with a 200-square foot bar and killer cocktails always available. Another great watering hole can be found right in the middle of the casino. The aptly named Social is a great place to drink with friends, especially those that love whiskey, as this is the home to a massive selection of blends.

The Pearl is the place to go for live music, as the 2,500 seat theater has welcomed some of the biggest names in music to the stage. There simply isn’t a bad seat to be found in this house.

Great food is always available at The Palms, including Alize, a French-themed restaurant from Chef Andre Rochat. Another renowned cook, Chef Geno Bernardo, offers up sumptuous dishes at Nove Italiano, in a setting that offers amazing views of the Strip.

It is there that you will find handmade chocolates, sinfully delicious crepes, and a host of other sweet treats that will leave you wanting more.

Every corner of The Palms oozes style, even when you go to casual eating joints like the 24 Seven Café, The Eatery food court, or the Bistro Buffet. You can even catch a movie at the 14-screen Brenden Theaters at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

You will find that the casino located inside The Palms has the latest, greatest slots and video poker games available. Table games fan out from the bar at the center of the casino floor. You can wager on every big game by paying a visit to the Cantor Race & Sports Book, which features a massive 1,290-square foot LED TV, a fully stocked bar, and eight poker tables.

A stylish new look can be yours when you pay a visit to the Kim Vo Salon, where you can get a cut, color, and a host of other great beauty services to help you look your best. There are plenty of shopping opportunities available inside The Palms, and you can even get a little glimpse into your future when you get your fortune told at the Cosmic Corner. Take the Skytube and you will find Palms Place, where additional dining can be found, as well as the Drift Spa.

As you can see, there is a reason why The Palms is considered the cool place to be when you visit Las Vegas.
